Seasonal trends continued in November with sales, new listings, and prices easing compared to last month. However, sales climbed for the third consecutive month compared to last year—a positive shift despite still being 30% below long-term averages.
With inventory levels hitting their highest November numbers since 2011, the market saw over four months of supply, maintaining balanced conditions.
The benchmark price came in at $763,400—slightly lower than last month but nearly 2% higher than November 2023. While year-over-year prices show modest gains, average benchmark prices for 2024 are down by just under 1%.
